Shenita,
On behalf of myself and several other residents here at the Enclave at Riverdale Apartment Homes, we would just like to thank you and your staff for your unwavering dedication and commitment to keeping residents safe and for continuing to compassionately see the residents through this unprecedented upheaval in our daily lives. The Global Health Crisis (Pandemic), have created unfathomable challenges in our daily lives we often take for granted. You though, have exemplified yourself as an Emergency Crisis Manager. That's the title I give to you for your leadership through this crisis. Mind you that it's not over yet.
One of the first steps you took was to shut down all public amenities (swimming pool, gym, basketball courts, residents computer terminals- office space) within the community, in order to stop Community Spread of Covid-19. Then you issued strict measures on the amount of outside guests that a residence may have, and you even hired extra security to enforce the policy. All in mind with keeping the residents of our homes Covid-19 free.
Then your assistant Gabrielle went to work making sure that people could keep their homes as businesses and the economy grounded to a screeching halt. Late payments were waived, very generous promised to pay dates were made, and in some instances back portions were forgiven all together - wow! These are some of the things I know of that she did because I was one of them. I could only imagine what she did for other residents on a case by case basis. True to form for how you and your team think of your residents, I remember one of the last protocols you put into place was to secure you and your staff safety and health by shutting down admittance into the leasing office itself and your maintenance staff enter apartments on an emergency basis - they have been wonderful and not scared. This was a very unselfish act on you and your staffs part. Putting the health and well being of yourself and staff second to the residents here at the "Enclave".
Finally, I could go on and on, but I do not want to sing your praises to loud or Corporate might want to give you a position at headquarters. At this unprecedented time in our history, a significant responsibility has been placed on your shoulders, and so far with your leadership there is light at the end of the tunnel, we still have to remain vigilant, the fight isn't over yet. This virus is insidious. Keep up the good work, and most of all Keep the Faith!!! Thank you.
Respectfully,
Roderick, 5 Year Resident
